On Saturday, May 21st, the YMCA Teen Center Ticonderoga
, a Silver Bay YMCA program, and the Ticonderoga
Chamber of Commerce, the Ticonderoga
Montcalm Street Partnership, and the Town of Ticonderoga
is holding a free community event to inspire more kids to keep their minds and bodies active.
The Silver Bay YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day Spring Carnival event is taking place at the YMCA Teen Center located at the Armory on 123 Champlain Avenue in Ticonderoga from 11 am – 2 pm and will feature fun, active play and educational activities such as:
A Character from The Great Escape will be on hand for pictures!!
The Circus Fitness Fun Performance- Juggling and other amazing talents!
Games and Activities – prize punch carnival game, skee ball, scooter plunge race, plinko, pick a pop, balloon pop carnival game, frog launcher and more!
Zumba – kids Zumba class
Girl Scout and Boy Scout- Information on joining and a couple activities.
Merriloons The Clown – face painting and balloon animals (for a small fee)
Adirondack Paddle Tennis and Golf – indoor Paddle Tennis and indoor Golf lessons
Ticonderoga Fire Department – learn about fire safety and climb on the Fire Truck!
Ticonderoga EMS – Get your blood pressure taken and check out the ambulance.
New York State Police – will provide car seat safety tips and fingerprinting
Black Watch Library – will have information about signing up for a Library card and will also have a reading nook
Fidelis Insurance – to help you navigate the insurance Marketplace!
YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day is supported nationally by Humana. Silver Bay YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day Spring Carnival is supported locally by the Ticonderoga Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Ticonderoga, and the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership.
