On the south ballfield:
12:00pm – 5pm (or until supplies last). Adire Tie & Dye Workshop with Sheyee Awoyami and family. Come to our event early and Pick up a T-Shirt to make your own design while learning a traditional art form from Nigeria.
1:00pm – 6pm Warri/Mancala with Oba Cullins. Considered by many to be the oldest game in the world – The rules of Warri/Mancala are easy to learn. The game is as easy as checkers with the benefits of chess.
1:00pm – 1:45pm and 3:30pm – 4:15pm Hula Hoops with Hula Roots Join Venetria Benetez as she teaches you the basics or helps you to improve your hula hoop technique.
2:00pm – 4:00pm Pony Rides
2:30pm – 4:30pm Balloon artist Brian Harger and face painters Nancy & Fatima join us for another year of family fun and surprises
3:00pm – 4:00pm Stilt Walkers

1:00pm Heritage Ensemble Heritage is a vocal and acoustic band that fuses the rich culture and roots in the tradition of diasporic Africa, South America and the Caribbean with modern musical trends.
2:00 Troop Asmara -Belly Dance performance and workshop
3:00 The Diamond Dancers – A group of young dancers with energy and lots of soul!
4:00 Harlem Bomb Shelter- Music, Dance and spoken word
5:00 Akil Dasan Ensemble – Jazz, Soul, R&B
6:00 Drum & percussion workshop with Salim Ajanku
