The Stop Motion Class being offered at the Gardiner Library will take place in three parts as the young filmmakers recreate the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Teams of children will work on scenes that will be strung together to create a short movie that will be edited by the head of this program, Sarah Prosser, so all can enjoy the finished product at the end! This program is an excellent way for children to use their growing imaginations and explore the rudiments of stop motion film making.
Sarah is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz with her degree in Creative Writing and has recently been accepted to attend Queens College where she will earn her Master’s in Library Sciences. She has designed this program to be a fun exercise in fine motor skills, attention to detail, film making, and photography.
Please call the library at (845) 255-1255 or stop in to register.
