ARTPROV is a uniquely entertaining show that brings together different artistic mediums to inspire each other and create new works of art together. The Artprov cast of comics create improvised scenes and songs based on the gallery of their guest artist work, who, at the same time, create a new painting, sculpture, or piece based on the scenes based on their work. An artistic circle of life.

Matt Larsen is an artist, writer and performer. His artwork has
been featured at MODA, SXSW and PS3 Artpark and his writing at
Flashshot, Golden Visions, Kaleidotrope, SAHmmy.com and on stage with
children’s shows “Kid Mystery” and the Chicago Reader­-recommended
science fiction musical “The Paper Spaceship.” He lives on Manhattan’s
Lower East Side with his brilliant wife and daughter and two adequate

Astoria: Astoria Park Volunteer Days: Park Bench Painting!

This week, we’ll give some park benches a fresh coat of paint to help them last all season long!

We will meet at the Field House by the Astoria Park track before heading to the work area(s).

APA will provide gloves and all necessary equipment. Please arrive comfortably, in clothing suitable for outdoor work.

We’re having a party to celebrate the release of our album “Before All This.”
